In our fast-paced world, finding ways to improve our mental and physical well-being is crucial. One powerful method is learning how to raise your vibration frequency. But what does it mean to “raise your vibration,” and why is it important? In this blog, we’ll explore the concept of vibrational energy, its significance, and practical ways to elevate it for a healthier, happier life.

What is Vibrational Energy?

Vibrational energy speaks of the electromagnetic energy that is present in all living things. This energy operates at different frequencies, with higher frequencies often associated with positive emotions and well-being, and lower frequencies linked to negative emotions and stress.

How to Incorporate Mindfulness:

  • Meditation: Practice daily meditation, even if it’s just for 10 minutes.
  • Deep Breathing: Take deep breaths throughout the day to center yourself.
  • Mindful Activities: Engage in activities mindfully, such as eating or walking. Just tuning in, with intention during a specific activity will ground you in the present moment and allow you feel more in tune with nature and your higher self. 

2. Affirmations

Affirmations are positive statements that can help reprogram your subconscious mind, elevating your vibrational frequency.

How to Use Affirmations:

  • Create Personalized Affirmations: Use statements that resonate with you, such as “I am worthy” or “I attract abundance with ease.”
  • Daily Practice: Repeat your affirmations as much as possible throughout each. Bonus if you can do this in front of a mirror. 

Examples:

  • “I am surrounded by love and positivity every moment.”
  • “My life is filled with abundance and joy.”

3. Healthy Eating and Hydration

What you consume significantly impacts your vibrational energy. Eating nutritious, whole foods and staying hydrated can raise your vibration. Foods that are lower vibrational are those with high amounts of refined sugar, empty calories, alcohol, etc. Low vibrational foods often correlate to the convenience style foods, fast food and processed foods.

Foods That Boost Vibration:

  • Fruits and Vegetables: Organic, fresh produce like berries, leafy greens, and avocados.
  • Nuts and Seeds: Almonds, chia seeds, and flaxseeds. Just make sure to soak them beforehand as they do have a protective outer sheath that can be inflammatory. 
  • Herbal Teas and Water: Stay hydrated with pure water and herbal, low caffeine teas. My favorite are rooibos chai and matcha green tea. 

4. Movement

Physical activity is a great way to elevate your vibration. Exercise releases endorphins, which are natural mood lifters.

Types of Exercises:

  • Yoga: Combines physical movement with mindfulness.
  • Dancing: A fun way to boost your mood and get into a flow state!
  • Walking or Running: Simple yet effective ways to increase your energy levels.

5. Connecting with Nature

Spending time outdoors can significantly raise your vibration. Nature’s high vibrational energy can uplift your mood and provide a sense of peace.

Activities to Connect with Nature:

  • Hiking: Explore nature trails.
  • Gardening: Spend time nurturing plants with your hands in the dirt!
  • Beach Visits: Enjoy the calming effect of the ocean.
  • Grounding: Simply laying in the grass is a profound and science proven way to reduce stress and enhance your energy! This is one of my faves when feeling overwhelmed.

  • Gratitude Journaling: Write down three things you’re grateful for each day.
  • Express Gratitude: Tell people in your life why you appreciate them.
  • Prayer: Another beautiful way to incorporate both mindfulness and gratitude is to say a little prayer of thanks before eating. This allows you to slow down, focus and eat with more intention.

  • Painting or Drawing: Explore visual arts. I love to do this outside in nature when possible!
  • Writing: Write stories, poems, or journaling.
  • Music: Play an instrument or sing. I personally love to sing at the top of my lungs in my car and jam out to feel-good music!
